Garden Reading Group meets during the off-season (from October through the end of February). Readings range from “how-to” manuals to garden-based fiction; generally we will focus on one short selection (a chapter, article, etc.) per session, and sometimes we’ll take multiple sessions to discuss a single work. Our 2011-2012 Reading Group included selections from the following:

- Feb 2, 2012 – Attracting Native Pollinators (Xerces Society)
- Feb 16, 2012 – How to Grow More Vegetables (Jeavons)

We meet at a coffee shop, so food/beverages will be available; please arrive early if you plan to buy something to eat/drink so that the discussion can begin on time. Each session will begin with an overview by the facilitator of the main points of the selection, and participants will be encouraged to share their own reactions and responses.
